Went to their site, read the pledge, took the pledge, and then clicked on "Rules and Regulations".
What. The. Hell.
Terms & Conditions
1. All fields are mandatory.
2. Each entrant is entitled to one gift redemption only. Multiple entries will be automatically disqualified.
3. Redemption of gift is open to all, except employees of MediaCorp.
4. Gifts are as per stated. They are neither transferable nor exchangeable for cash.
5. All winners must claim their gifts within the deadline stated in the official e-mail sent to them. Prizes not claimed within the deadline given on the official letter will be forfeited.
6. When collecting the gift, identification documents like a NRIC / Driver's license / Passport / Birth Certificate, must be produced. If winners are not able to collect their prizes personally, they may nominate a representative on their behalf bearing a letter of authorisation and a photocopy of the identification document for collection of gift.
7. The organiser reserves the right to use, publicise, and or broadcast the winners name, likeness, image, character or voice and the fact that he / she is a gift recipient at any time they deem fit.
8. MediaCorp News. Radio. Print reserves the right to change, amend or withdraw the rules and regulations without prior notice.
9. In the event of a dispute, the decision of the judges is final. No correspondence will be entertained.

I had this sudden impression that people were signing up for a competition or something.
Landed up, people actually take the pledge JUST FOR A FREAKING BAG!
What's the use?
If people sign up for it, just for the bag.
They really should rethink.
I don't really care for the bag. But do they really thing the earth has degenerated to such a state that incentives have to be given before we do something about it?
Indeed, Lisa Simpson should come to Singapore and hold "An Irritating Truth."
