Hello all. Just caught "The Golden Compass" today. Meaning to get the book, but now prices are high due to the movie... So will wait for it to drop. Meanwhile, the following are spoilers. So don't read if you don't wish to.

Firstly, why give the polar bear such a long name?!
Iorek Byrnison. Lets see. "Help Me! Iorek Byrnison!" I think I would dead before I reach his surname. How about something short and cute?(:
Ah well... It was a nice show. Although the show was supposed to be part 1 of 3 (His Dark Materials Trilogy), it still ended quite... Abruptly. I thought it was like "The Simpsons" when they suddenly said "To Be Continued" and sat quite insistently on my seat, till the credits started rolling. Then I grudgingly got up.
Bahs. I'm crapping here.
