This keyboard is causing me quite a number of problems. For one, I don't think that I will finish my Academic Project Final Draft. It has also destroyed my dreams of writing song lyrics. All my dreams are dead. *Beep*
I think my keyboard is reaching its lifespan. Keys such as "BackSpace" and "W", "T", "R", "Home" are getting hard to press. I wonder if I can get Acer to replace the entire thing...
OEI I TELL YOU WHOEVER WHO ****ING TOO MY STUFF. BETTER PUT THEM BACK IF NOT I WILL **** YOU UP SO BAD YOU CAN'T TELL RIGHT FROM DOWN! (p.s. Kim's stuff too)
Hello all. Sorry for not updating in such a long time. Been soooo very busy D=. I promise when Thursday is over, I'll flood this like crazy. =D Meanwhile, Installation is turning up to be a big headache (I meant busy, not that I hate it or anything.) There are even internal barriers to overcome now. Hopefully we (as in all of us who knows what I'm talking about) will be able to pull through this successfully. I saw on Jean's blog of her making a bet with someone to stop smoking. Normally when I tell people I know and care for to stop smoking, some of them think that I'm just against them smoking. I'm actually against smoking in general. My Grandfather used to smoke. Since he was young. All of us (Grandchildren + Parents and Uncles and Aunties) used to tell him not to. At one point in time, we thought that we had succeeded. However, we noticed that we frequented the toilet very often, and soon found cigarettes in the toilet bowl. It took us another few years from then to convince him to completely give up smoking, which he finally did. But it was too late. A few years later, he went for a checkup. Some routine stuff, and the doctor certified him completely healthy. We breathed a sigh of relief. A few months later, he was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. And not exactly an early stage. He was given only about a year left to live. We bought all sorts of herbal medicine and what not we could get our hands on to prolong it. We managed to fight it for a while. But not for long. Soon, it spread to his brain. January 2004. Chinese New Year took place in January. My grandfather decided to get out of bed to take family photos with the whole family there. February 2004, he passed away. I will never forget him. And for every person I know smoking has taken away from me, my hate for it grew. I'll never let anyone I know and care for ever smoke.
Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father) - Lindsay Lohan
Note: This post might be offensive to girls aged 13-14 and possibly boys aged 16+. Please do not read if you do not wish me to put your idol, "L" on a stick and roast him on a spit. Thank you."
Very recently, a movie called "L Change The World" has been released as a spin-off to the recent craze over the entire "Death Note" series. My goodness. He's more emo than I am. =D. Oh wait. I meant D=.
Following the release of this movie, I saw a high moderate rise in the number of MSN nicks including my very idiotic sister, quoting "L".
No matter how gifted you are, you alone cannot change the world. - "L"oser (Now till 23 days later)
I found myself relatively bemused by this very statement...
Honestly if I had to pick between the 2, I'd pick the one not sucking his thumb. I mean, what a baby!
If one, no matter how gifted he is, can't change the world, does that mean that the world has never changed? OK. I'll go change the world. Alone. . . . . . . . Back. I just dug a hole in my garden. There is now a change in the world. There's an extra hole. Tada. =D
OK... Fine... I'll give a rational argument.
People like Mother Theresa, Al Gore, Gandhi, George Bush. Such people have definitely impacted this world and changed it for the better Wait a minute... Did George? How can one say that no matter how gifted you are, you cannot change the world? Mother Theresa was certainly gifted in her own little way, helping change the World, no matter how long it took her, she still did. As with Al Gore and Gandhi. They may not have exactly done it alone, but they started alone. Not everyone (especially *ahem*flowerbush*ahem* agreed with Al Gore on his view. But it started with him. And he played it on. And so did everyone. They played on the message. I recall last year, I showed the Robotic Juniors "An Inconvenient Truth". I didn't expect the documentary to have such an effect on them as much as it had on me, and I'm shocked, and quite pleased actually, that I've managed to leave an impact on Spencer (I think I did... I hope...) And so, one can change the world alone. Its just whether the rest of us wish to play it forward.
Oh. I just understood something. I think all the girls aged 13-14 (and hopefully not those guys aged 16+) decided to quote "L" as he's cute. Oh. OK. I rest my case.
Had Interactors Meeting just now at Ben and Jerry's (Thanks Ms Koh for the treat =D) Was really interesting... The scenes I see in a day... I was waiting at the Taxi Stand (No, I wasn't taking a taxi, I was waiting for my mom.), and this gangster looking Malay (Not racist!) with his 2 other Malay lady counterparts came up to the Taxi Stand. I just stood in a corner as they squabbled loudly, rudely and teased each other. At this point in time, another lady had joined the queue. A taxi came along. And the guy asked the lady "Would you like to share?" I was like "Whoa." Who knew. Who knew.
