now playing:
- Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father) - Lindsay Lohan
Note: This post might be offensive to girls aged 13-14 and possibly boys aged 16+. Please do not read if you do not wish me to put your idol, "L" on a stick and roast him on a spit. Thank you."Very recently, a movie called "L Change The World" has been released as a spin-off to the recent craze over the entire "Death Note" series.
My goodness. He's more emo than I am. =D. Oh wait. I meant D=.Following the release of this movie, I saw a
high moderate rise in the number of MSN nicks
including my very idiotic sister, quoting "L".
No matter how gifted you are, you alone cannot change the world.
- "L"oser (Now till 23 days later)
I found myself relatively bemused by this very statement...
Honestly if I had to pick between the 2, I'd pick the one not sucking his thumb. I mean, what a baby!If one, no matter how gifted he is, can't change the world, does that mean that the world has never changed? OK. I'll go change the world. Alone.

Back. I just dug a hole in my garden. There is now a change in the world. There's an extra hole.
Tada.
=D
OK... Fine... I'll give a rational argument.
People like Mother Theresa, Al Gore, Gandhi, George Bush. Such people have definitely impacted this world and changed it for the better
Wait a minute... Did George? How can one say that no matter how gifted you are, you cannot change the world? Mother Theresa was certainly gifted in her own little way, helping change the World, no matter how long it took her, she still did. As with Al Gore and Gandhi. They may not have exactly done it alone, but they started alone. Not everyone (especially *ahem*flowerbush*ahem* agreed with Al Gore on his view. But it started with him. And he played it on. And so did everyone. They played on the message.
I recall last year, I showed the Robotic Juniors "An Inconvenient Truth". I didn't expect the documentary to have such an effect on them as much as it had on me, and I'm shocked, and quite pleased actually, that I've managed to leave an impact on Spencer (I think I did... I hope...) And so, one can change the world alone. Its just whether the rest of us wish to play it forward.
Oh. I just understood something. I think all the girls aged 13-14 (and hopefully not those guys aged 16+) decided to quote "L" as he's cute. Oh. OK. I rest my case.
